CENTER FOR INFORMATION & COLLABORATION
The project goal was to design a center for information and collaboration within the University of Arizona campus. In a way that would promote collaboration between students and integration between disciplines held within their designated library at the CIC. Collaboration, integration and community are at the core of the building design. An active learning communal space interweaves in between the four distinct disciplines held within the CIC. Blending students from different disciplines, into one grand space. As you circulate vertically and horizontally, from one area or level to the next, leads you to constantly be engaged with the various communal activities in the building.
